Discovery Channel

I've been learning (and dreaming) about Australia since I was a kid, now I'm 44. Thanks to Discovery Channel-Atlas and my cable TV provider, that made a contest in Mexico in dicember 2006, I won the first prize by making an essay about why I wanted to visit this country (you could also wrote about China and Italy). I won a trip to Australia for 10 days in 2007; it's a dream come true after more than 35 years.

I will be only in Sydney and I want to get some advice of places to visit besides the one the tourists usually go.
