hey there.. it will be an interesting ride. i don't know how we're going to survive on US$50 a day in the US of A but we have an idea to pimp tim off so we can buy ourselves a decent dinner wahahaha (don't tell him i said that!). we don't yet know which cities we're hitting, but i've only ever been to san francisco so it will all be quite new to me. i'm really looking forward to travelling with the other 4. we are quite different personality-wise but there is a similar thread running through us. as they say, same same but different :) whatever it is, watch the show people!!!

I guess you remind me of myself in a way...calm, collected, inquisitive, and when traveling I also like to go off and take a walk and interact with the locals...yep, that's what it's all about! Oh, and I'm working on my Mandarin, too. Anyway, can't wait to see you do your thing. Love this Zach guy, too! I was so into his vlog just listening to him explain the history behind things. Perfect choice. Tim - hilarious. Bevis? lmao. All I'm thinking right now is his counter-part, Butthead. haha. Naw, it's spelled differently. He seems really genuine and extremely interesting. Love the new TJs. Can't wait to see such different characters interact on-screen in a foreign land. USA! Come to Minnesota! Land of 10,000 lakes! I'll show you around! Good luck with filming.

To everyone it was really great to know you all!
A big shout out to DTL staff and judges! You made our nerve wracking auditions bearable.
This trip has been quite the nostalgic as well as a hopeful reminder that things can only get better if you put yourself out there and just try your best. Of course its a bit "ahh... sayang! wish it was me lah" But hey you gotta admit the free trip (free food!) was worth every drama that came with it!
There are so many stories to tell for this past two days and I know exactly where to begin.. THERE IS MORE THAN ONE ME! In fact there were 38 of us all shapes, sizes, color, gender and ages (I wasn't the only 30ish year old yeah!). From all across the Pan Asia region I saw myself incarnated in so many forms that at first it was unnerving. So similar yet a few kinks here and there that made us different.
The party may have stopped for most of us today, but hopefully it will continue as the exchange of business cards and emails and promises of look me up when you are in my country will find fruition someday. If not... the mere memory of a meal shared, a drink toasted and a flash photo will be enough to say THIS REALLY HAPPENED!
This trip was the best and this contest is something worth talking about for a long time... and for sure every time I order aSingapore Sling it will remind me of the recipe each individual brought in during the past two days to make one hell of a hangover that will last a lifetime.

Who do you want to see on the show?!
My picks: 1. Ma Yung Shin - A certain refreshing naivete and sweetness. 2. Timothy Bloxsome - Earnest and... cute?! 3. Marc Dass - Someone you know you'll have fun with. 4. Octavia Martin - Enthusiastic and a natural on camera. 5. Melanie Casul - gung-ho. interesting take on her surroundings.

anyone from the DTL team here? are you guys gonna show the auditions on tv or here online as webisodes (much like the last 2 seasons)? let us know when they'll be watch-able, though the drama behind the scenes merits more of a soap opera rather than the ones on-cam... haha am i right, peeps?
zach! bevis! you guys online? i'm currently uploading our pics but it's taking forever...
i'm finally on this forum, have been posting in the US one but figured i'd probably have more fun here since i know y'all... damnit i cant believe i was thisclose to getting it... ZAAAACH! hahaha just kidding. you're the bomb man.
