Mernie: Hey, it was great meeting you the other day. I'm so glad you came to Little India to see us. I hope to see you again before I leave but if not, I definitely appreciate you coming to say hello.

As for Singapore, I'm loving it. The people here are super cool. Tonight, we're going to dinner at the house of a fourteen year old fan we met on the first night we were here. I'm really looking forward to it.

S.Y.: Thanks. I'm just trying to have a good time. I think most people laugh at me and not with me but that's cool... as long as you're laughing.

The Amazing Simmer: You know, I wanted to check out MoS and Zouk but since we're on a budget, I cannot afford to pay to get into a club. I know those are the two most popular places and I would LOVE to go there and check out the crowds but I find it hard to spend $20 plus to get into a club. I'll be in Singapore again though in a few weeks on my own and maybe I'll check them out then when I'm spending my own money.

meryhuang: I love you too! I love all you guys and gals. It is hard to believe that people actually come in here to talk to us and I appreciate every one of you all! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

mijaka_alapag: Thanks for all your help in both Singapore and Taiwan. I'm looking into what we're going to do next week in Taiwan and everytime you guys post ideas, it really helps out a lot. Thank you Dona.

Bo: Singapore is great! Like I said before, the people here are awesome! I've been partying a bit but this weeks been hectic.

Alfguy: Sorry alfguy, We're going out to dinner tonight with a fan we met and afterwards I've got a ton of homework to finish. Thanks for the offer though.

x_kicks: I really want to check out MoS but I can't afford to get in the door on my budget. I dislike entry fees and long lines! I really dislike standing in line to get into a club.

I would love to check it out though. Like I said above, I'll be back in a few weeks (I think/hope) and then I'll have my own money and I'll have more options in what I can do.

Thank you everyone for the questions. Keep them coming and I'm going to try hard to respond a little quicker next time.

You guys can also check out my photos at:

I hope to hear from you all soon.

Tony, if you are going to MOS next time u are back in Singapore, just look for a bartender called Vincent. My brother would be willing to mix some drinks for you.

Eskibar shouldn't have any entrance fee.
One is at 46 Circular Road, and another one is at 46 Lorong Mambong (Holland Village).

I would suggest the Circular Road, as there are many other pubs there too. The furniture, like the bar top, is made of ice, and the temperature there is freezing cold. It's a good place to escape from the heat in Singapore.

Omigosh! The clubber is not going to Zouk nor Mos?? How can this be happening?? These 2 clubs are representatives of the clubbing scene in Singapore. Zouk was voted #11 on the Best Club in the World. But I do agree queuing & entrance fees into a club are such a turn-off..

When you hit Singapore again, do drop me an email. My hubby is member of Zouk so he can sign you in as a guest (no need pay entrance fee & no need to queue!!) But, clubbing in Singapore ain't cheap. Alcohol going to cost you. Travel safe! Talk soon! Smiler

tony...i've nt been dropping messages to u cos i myself gotta do homework by reading thru all the threads to ensure that i will nt repeat the clubs and bars that was already recommended.

if going clubbing cost a hole in ur pocket..u might consider pubbing or going to bars...cos there r no covercharge. my personal fav is insomnia bar at chijmes...cos the resident band perform numbers frm coldplay, nirvana, Linkin park etc..i like dat..but im unsure whether u will. u dun need to q to get in there. u dun need to pay to get in there...juz pay for ur booze. if on fri..it opens till 4am..

another classier bar with no covercharge would be asylum at clarke quay. it has an open concept with pool table and overlooking the singapore river. if ur still sober..get josh to go for a gmax ride with u. at clarke quay too..opens till 3am.

Heya Tony

Sure it'll be a pleasure to meet you guys again!

Josh mentioned in his reply to my message yesterday that he's dying to see a Singapore flat, so you may wanna check with him if tomorrow evening is fine, i.e. flat viewing + dinner. Then perhaps afterwards, we could just drive around for a cuppa.

Hear from you guys!

Lotsa luv
Mernie
