Thanks for the landmarks dressinblack!
Window shopping is always fun. Maybe Tiff and I will check it out later! What is a pastizzis? Is that a pastry? Whatever it is is sounds yummy.

For a really cheap and tasty meal, check out Crown Street in Darlinghurst. There's a place a few doors down from Nu & Nan (Renee & Tiffany take note - very cool shoes and clothes), diagonally opposite Route 66 that sells the best pastizzis I've ever tasted.

Hi again HamburgSud,
I wanted to thank you again for the suggestion to go to the Arthouse Hotel this past Monday.
It was such a cool environment! right after I read your post, I ran to the payphone and called. Luckily it was happening and they had room. It has been one of my favorite activities I've done thus far and it's all thanks to you!
I made quite a few drawings in different media. Some were pastel, others graphite, and the small drawings were in pen.

Cheers! Renee

On harbour was my favourite place so defenitely get on a boat and see Sydney from the water. I was supporting myself in doing portraits at Circular Quay and Martin Place. If you are artistich you can get a permit from Sydney council and paint or draw for money. One of my favourite places to go was a bar in Sydney called the Arthouse hotel on Pitt street, I used to go every Monday they have a painting group with a live model and anyone can join in. You have to bring your own stuff and you can have a beer while you draw. You need to book in advance 9284 1250 for the bar I don’t have the number for the class. Have a Thooeys New , It’s my favourite beer.

TJs, Big Cheese, Team,
It's Discovery Travel & Living Asia/Pacific Rim here. One of the best city views of Sydney can be had at a restaurant called Quay at The Rocks above Doyles, a famous fish restaurant.

I dined there recently with the owner John who should remember me if you mention Discovery. If you can win him over (he's a great guy), ask him to take you to the rooftop where you can get the most amazing 360 degree establishing shot of Sydney. Phenomenal.
