Speaking of Chinatown, the obvious place to go is Paddy's Market in hay Street. It's just an amazing place! And try the laksa at the McLuksa stall on the third floor food court. It's tucked at the back but it is fabulous.

There's a fabulous pie place in Sydney that I visited last year. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the place! It might have been near The Rocks. Any Sydneysiders out there who might know?

Are you talking about the one from the side of the mobile trailer? It comes with peas and gravey on top and it really is the best. Think its Pete's or Harry's pies?
Also, you have to have the FRIED MARS BARS in Manly beach! World Flameous.

Hey, your talking about Harry's Cafe De Wheels - an institution in Sydney! Not much to look at but the best pies (get one with the lot, peas and mash) as well as hot dogs if your not the pie type! Its like a roadside caravan or mobile home (for the yanks) on the wharfs at Potts Point in Sydney, but there is also another location at Capital Theatre (I think), in Sydney city, off George St - opposite Chinatown. quote: Originally posted by digitaldiva: Are you talking about the one from the side of the mobile trailer? The TJs should check out the Sydney cricket ground. Cricket is MASSIVE in Aus and the SCG is the most famous ground in the Southern Hemisphere. For an insight in to Aussie sports go there!
