**Ideas for Tony**

To explore the night life of Hong Kong, LFK (short for Lan Kwai Fong) and SoHo (Short for South of Hollywood Road) is a definate place to go. But beside this Super Euro-style clubbing and partying night out. You may also try to go for some variaties:

Local bars/pups in Mongkok / TST (Tsim Sha Tsui): Experience the very busy, very noicy local style of a night out. Order beers in the units of 'bucket' (half a dozens of bottles). Countness different types of drinking games sometimes even with props (dices)

Sports bars & Irish pubs in TST: Experience another colonial heritage in Hong Kong. Brings you right to a local pubs in London. Expect a Brit sitting next to you talking about Rugby, Creeket or Football (Yes, I am talking about soccer)

Karaoke Box: A group of friends sitting in a little room drinking lots of beer and singing out of tune. Saved the hassle and embarressment of singing in a hall in Karaoke bars. You can save a trip for dinner if you can find one serving 'K-buffet' Yes, I buffet layout in the foyor for you to get food back to your room!

**Idea for Josh**

No, I am not a sports guy so my information is very limited.

Surfing in Big Wave Bay - It is nothing compare to Wakiki in Hawaii or Bondai in Australia. But it's fun to watch those true beginners and those pros who stuck in HK to wait for the pityful small wave.

Wind-Surfing in Cheng Chau - I know windsurfing is no extreme sport. But it is the only sport we are good at : Ms Lee Lai Shan won an Olympic Gold metal for us in Atlanta 96. So wind-surfing on the island she was born to celebrate the most out-standing sportwoman in Hong Kong History!

Dragon boat festival - Don't exactly know when in June. A traditional Chinese festival and now a sport event attract many forign team to compete

Dolphin watching near Lantau - See this special spice of 'China White Dophine' (actually pink in colour) that mainly live in South China see which simbolize the handover of Hong Kong from Britian to China

The cheapest way from Airport to city (even many HK people dun know that):
-Take the bus No.S1 from airport (HK$3.5) to Tung Chung
-Take MTR (near bus terminal) to downtown (from HK$15-20 depends on where you stay)

The most important stuff in HK: Octopus Card
Octopus card is even more important than ID card in HK. This is a card for electronic money which can be used on all public transportation (bus, MTR, minibus, tram, ferry….), food, 7-11, supermarket….many place else….Octopus card means convenient!
Where to get it:
Airport Express station at airport terminal (but remember DON’T take airport express to downtown coz it is very expensive. Take the method to city as I mentioned above)

The best view toilet (MUST GO):
Toilet at Felix Café, top floor of the Peninsular Hotel
The toilet rated as the best scenery toilet in the world by some international travel magazine. The view of Victoria Habour is far more spectacular than looking from the seaside of Tsim Sha Tsui.
How to go:
Take the stylish exclusive escalator up to Felix Café, the toilet is just next to the escalator. (no need to walk through the reception)
Totally Free!

Cheap but local activity:
K-Lunch Buffet: around HK$40-50each (usually 12nm-3pm)
Location: Karaoke Boxes such as Neway, California Red, Green Box around Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay
Selling Point: Experience the local youngster most favorable activities. The price at lunch is far more cheaper than at night. The price at night per person is around $100-$130! But the food is the similar.

Heritage activity:
Tai O Fishing Village
Selling Point: an unique fishing village at Lantau Island, very beautiful and may have chance to see pink dolphins
How to go: Take MTR to Tung Chung station, then take the bus No.11
Free: Around HK$50 for transportation

Guys, you can also check out the Wetland Park, a half natural and half man-made enviromental site. They show you different types of wetlands from the pole to the tropical. Sounds like a site for school kids but still worth a try as you can't see much of the 'nature' in Hong Kong!!

Mei Po is another place to look at the 'nature' side of Hong Kong. Every year thousands of rare birds will take a pit-stop here from the cold contenin to the tropical place... too bad I don't know if it is still open to public now due the the world outbreak of bird flu.

I recommand to visit Ocean Park rather then Hong Kong Disneyland. Ocean Park is something like "Sea World" in USA, but there are special animals like "Panda" from China and jellyfish, that's awesome.

For the Hong Kong Disneyland, it is really really tiny, it is the smallest Disneyland in the world (there is only a Magic Kingdom) . If you guys have visited any Disneyland in USA, you will be very disappointed about that.

P.S. Try to visit Ocean Park or Disneyland in the weekdays, otherwise , you will watse so much time for queueing. Enjoy your trip in Hong Kong.
