Thank you for the reply of Kahon. I do know that IFC tower 2 doesn't have a public viewing deck, but it's just possible for the travel channel to arrange a trip to the top.

By the way, I don't know if you guys know this. There is actually another forum on the web (also official one). I don't know if there is any difference between the two.

So, you may want to check it out on http://travel.discovery.com/fansites/5takes/pacrim/main.html?clik=www_wh_4 .

Well, I just hope that the TJs will read our messages as well.

I think you cannot go to The hk disneyland because your budget is only $50US per day, but the price of the ticket is $300-350 HKD(40-60US), it cause you cannot buy the ticket. But you can go to the ocean park in aberdeen.it makes only $250-300 for per ticket(30-40US).so that is more cheaper.
You can also rent a car in hk airport.the price is nearly the price of other place. But you need to have a international driver card if you are want to drive in HK.Also note you need a Octopus card for parking in the street park space.
There are some local mall and places you need to go.
1)You can go to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the world's largest, seated, outdoor, bronze Buddha statue. You can catch the opening time of the cable car:NP360-Which the longest cable car in HK, the price listed are:
Ngong Ping Skyrail Experience: Return
88
Ngong Ping Skyrail Experience: One-way
58
Walking with Buddha:
18
Monkey's Tale Theatre: Admission only
35
And one more...
Is the shopping area at Causewaybay,Tsim sha Tsui and Mong Kok.

**Ideas for Gabe**
Since you are the food guide, there are some local food you may want to try. They are not so difficult to find here in Hong Kong and very cheap.

Deep-fried fermented tofu - the smell is really strong, but when you eat them, it's just taste like ordinary tofu. (Local street food vendor)

Super spicy fish ball - very spicy, I hope that you have got a good stomach (local street food vendor)

deep-fried pig intestine - just because of the gross picture in your head, actually the taste is nothing bad at all. (Local street food vendor)

Ox internal organ - Again, just the thought of it, they actually tasted good if you like the taste of the soup that brases them (pepper, paprika and star-anise) (Local street food vendor)

Chicken feet - Yet another 'Fear Factor' charllenge. It really is the thought of it. And it's became more and more accepted even outside asia now. (Any Chinese restaurant)

Thousand-years-egg - A kind of preserved duck egg. Tasted very alkline, don't take a large bite. Better eat with pickled ginger (Most Chinese restaurant or street market/supermarket)

Egg-tart / Portuguese egg-tart - A local less sweeten version of custard tart. Beloved by the last British Governor of Hong Kong Mr. Chris Pattern (Any local bakery)

Shark-fin soup - The real one are very expensive, but there is a much cheaper version so called 'vegetarian Shark-fin' (local street vendor)

Fried Crab in Typhoon-Shelter style - Fried Crab with lots of chilli, preserved black beans and garlic. (Most Chinese Seafood Restaurant, especially on Temple Street)

Manderin Mix - The 'Manderin' means Manderin Ducks. It's actually a mix with tea and coffee! (Local tea house)

High Tea at the Peninsula - It will used up almost a day's budget, but it's an afternoon tea with a true Colonial style

Won-tun noodles - Simple Chinese style raviolli with noodles in soup. A very local lunch (Local low-budget restaurant)
