TJs, you are going to love NZ. I'm getting excited just thinking abt it! The people are really warm, and unlike Australia, NZ is genuinely multicultural - you'll notice kids hanging out in mixed groups and loads of mixed couples. Going to church in Auckland is an eye-opening insight into what social integration really means. Kiwis are comfortable in their own skins - historically, politically, socially - so the vibe in NZ is super relaxed.

I hope you guys get to drive from Auckland to Wellington. It's a 12 hour drive on SH1 and will give you a true experience of New Zealand life.

K'Rd is pretty sweet. lots of galleries, cafes, shops. Disrupt Gallery = urban hip hop = amazing GRAFFITTI & street art.
