It is not good enough to just turn up to an event and take your appearance fee etc without checking on the organisation of the event when they are the ONLY attraction to that event. Its not like they attended another bike show event, this was THEIR own OCC American Chopper roadshow event.

They were not the ONLY attraction they were the MAIN attraction. And it wasnt THEIR show.

I thought it was a family day with rides, street performers, trade shows, etc, etc ..... OK so when Snr noticed that they hadn't arrived he should have rung around to book replacement entertainers.

And the 3 ticket collectors (hands up the people who still have their ticket)Yep Snr should have been at the gate filling in the breach collecting tickets...

And when the ride went badly Snr should have stopped it and told the children to ride responsibly - oh hang on they were grown ups on the ride.

When a contract is signed for a well known and highly esteemed promotions company to organise an event I would have thought that all of these things AND MORE would have been done by that company. Maybe OCC can sue for breach of contract????

To add my 2c worth further, the OCC crew are also responsible in some way. They allowed their brand name to be used in such a disgraceful way by the profiteering Chugg Entertainment organisation ($50 admission for a 5 yr old child is daylight robbery).

It is not good enough to just turn up to an event and take your appearance fee etc without checking on the organisation of the event when they are the ONLY attraction to that event. Its not like they attended another bike show event, this was THEIR own OCC American Chopper roadshow event.

OCC have done a good job at trying to flick ALL responsibility of the poor event onto Chugg Entertainment, that does not work, they need to take their part of the blame for the event being for 1 a money making exercise on Chugg Entertainments part, and no doubt theirs to some degree, and 2 for it being such a poorly run event in every other aspect.

I'm trying hard to find a good point about the event, maybe the highlight was the OCC band and Mikey continually doing the Ozzi, Ozzi, Ozzi thing. Now that goes to show, how crap an event was if they were the highlights.

At least OCC have recognised that the event was to say the least crappy and put their own sort of apology on the web site which will be viewed worldwide. Why cant that drunk !d!ot Michael CHU66 come to the party and own up for it and do the right thing?

That's about my 2c worth.

To add to therealcasey's post from the 1/3/07. I tried to email that address at Chugg entertainment. stephen@chuggentertainment.com.au on the 5/3/07 however the mail was returned. I dare say that they have cut ALL means of communication in an effort to hope this disgraceful event will be forgotten about. Chugg Entertainment and Mr Chugg himself should be ashamed of putting on such an amatuerish show from what should have been a seasoned event organiser veteran. Has anyone got a reply as of yet from Chugg Entertainment? Thx.

Dear Canberran, Have read your reply from Discovery Channel. The Teutels and now Discovery Channel seem to be distancing themselves from this fiasco and laying it at the feet of Chugg Entertainment. So was it just a money making venture for Chugg Entertainment? Why is Chugg taking so long to answer our correspondence? Does he hope we will just go away?

I got this from Discovery today. Two of the three players have washed their hands and left Chugg holding the baby:

Thank you for your email and we're very sorry to hear about your bad experience at the recent American Chopper Live event organised by Chugg Entertainment. We have forwarded your note and also highlighted our concerns to them. They have also provided us with an address for consumers to write in - Chugg Entertainment PO Box 391, Strawberry Hills NSW 2012.

American Chopper is a series that airs on Discovery Channel and we flew them to Australia to film three episodes for the upcoming season. However, Chugg Entertainment was not appointed by Discovery Channel and we only supported the event by running a contest to give away free tickets to our fans and promote it on-air since our stars were making an appearance. Discovery Channel was in no way involved in the organisation of this event and did not benefit from the proceeds from the ticket sales. We appreciate your support for the show and the channel, and are disappointed to hear that you've been let down by the organisers of the event.

We hope that you will receive a response from Chugg Entertainment soon.

Discovery Channel Team
