What do you think is the minimum amount of gear one would require for a mountain climbing trip?

Care to share what you would pack if you were going to climb a mountain in Nepal?

thanks useful information!

I find an online shop which has Seinfeld on sale.
www.dvdorderonline.com is the one I searched not long ago. There are many newest dvds serials and many of them have a discount. You can save 5% if you buy items which is worth $150.00 , 10% for $200.00 and 15% for $300.00.

Depends what kind of peak youre climbing. If its a fairly easy going trekking peak the technical climbing gear youd need is at least: Goretex jacket, goretex pants/bib and brace, ice axe, 12 point crampons, good sunglasses, lots of sunscreen, mountaineering boots, karabiners, prussic ropes, ascender/jumar, belay device. you'll also need your normal gear like clothes, sleeping bag, trekking boots etc.
